Our passion for creating beautiful, handcrafted candles and wax melts is rooted in our desire to bring warmth, elegance, and personal touches into your home and gift-giving experiences.
Our Story
Hi! I'm Savanna, the owner of Swava Scents.
Even though Swava Scents is a one-woman show, I refer to the brand as “we,” “us,” and “our” because it's a collective passion shared with my wonderful customers.
It all started on a random night in September 2023 when I stumbled upon a candle-making video on TikTok. Instantly captivated by the process, I didn't just settle for a starter kit to test out this newfound interest. Instead, I spontaneously decided to go all in, investing in everything I needed to turn this passion into a business. By October 2023, I had launched Swava Scents with an autumn pumpkin-themed collection of candles.
Since then, I've been sharing my little handmade creations with family and friends. As of July 2024, I'm thrilled to take the next step and expand Swava Scents into a proper business, sharing my love for beautiful, personalised candles and wax melts with a broader audience.

Each of our products are meticulously handmade with all-natural soy wax, ensuring a cleaner and longer-lasting burn than traditional paraffin wax. We take pride in our attention to detail, from the intricate designs adorning the tops of our candles to the vibrant colours and stunning patterns on our labels.

Our Commitment

Our candles are made from 100% soy wax and our wax melts are made from a blend of soy wax and all-natural additives, which are both eco-friendly, cruelty-free and biodegradable. Using these natural waxes ensures our products burn cleaner than traditional paraffin wax. We also use premium fragrances to ensure a delightful and lasting aroma.
